Some chinese ISP seem to have messed up with their dns. Here you can find a config file where direct ip addresses are used to make UltraVPN work for you in the meantime. Remember there is a good chance that your chinese ISP will fix the problem soon!

To install the config file, go to Program Files\UltraVPN\config\ and paste it.

HI,admin!
I come from China.and I suddenly could connect server today before use the file "client.ovpn" you put it on here. and the ultrlavpn icon turn green and my IP is changed 10.8.23.2XX.But I could not use it to open any foreign web :(  Then I use the file  "client.ovpn",
and the state is same as up. Please tell me why ? Thanks a lot, forgive my poor English.

Some chinese ISP seem to have messed up with their dns.

i dont think the messing is unintended, and given the presumably high number of people using your software within PRC, its more than likely the censors has taken notice and directed the efforts to screw it. As someone said previously in the forum, next week is 60th anniversary of PRC establishment and they dont want anyone disturbing the party they gonna throw  :D
anyway, thanks for the response and the fix, and keep up the good job

hi, admin, i basically agree with the above assumption, given this sensitive period of PRC. by querying the local ISPs' DNS, the previously listed ultraVPN servers will be 'magically' directed to IPs INSIDE china. however when working with OPENDNS, it will respond with U.S. IPs yet still unreachable. seems to be very weird...

P.S. i have a sense that if it is not unintentional, in other words, the ISPs are hijacking DNS, then those plain IPs in the temp solution are quite likely to be filter out sooner or later. Have you ever considered using other techs? say, dynamic IP?
