Hello,

As some of you have noticed, high ports are now blocked with ultravpn. (you can't make outbound tcp connections anymore)
Originally we blocked them because allowing torrents generates too many abuses.
Even though the policy isn't likely to change any time soon for torrents, some other ports can be opened, for example ports for camfrog, msn or other applications, popular or not.

Please leave here your requests for opening ports. We'll try to open a few and see how it goes.

Just my 2 cent about some needed ports:

5222/5223 - Jabber / Gtalk
993 - Secure IMAP (for gmail / google apps)
587 - Secure SMTP (for gmail / google apps)

Thanks for this great service!!

6667 - irc
5222, 5223 - GTalk/Jabber
22 - ssh

May be mail ports: POP3,IMAP,SMTP (all simple + secure). I can understand if you will not open them because of spammers.. But for that ports you may set a connections limit to 10 per sec or so...

Here's my wish list:
City of Heroes
TCP - 2104, 2106, 6994, 13094, 23094
UDP - 7000-7100

Champions Online
TCP 7000-7599

Quake Live
TCP - 5222, 8088
UDP - 27000-27999

Exteel
TCP - 15152

But if you could at least open the City of Heroes ports, that'd be great. That's what I use the most.

If you could open the ports the game XIII use.
XIII Minimum Requirements UDP 8312-8332 Outbound Client ping servers from this list of ports TCP 40000-42999 Outbound Ubi.com UDP 41005-41006 Outbound Ubi.com UDP 44000 Outbound Ubi.com UDP 45000-45001 Outbound Ubi.com UDP 7777 Inbound Server listens to client on this port [or take the value of Port entry in [URL] section of Xiii.ini] UDP 7099 Inbound Server listens to ping request on this port (7778 for MP demo)

And if you could open ports for hamachi so the users of hamachi can play their games in a lan.
12975 TCP, and 32976 TCP 443 TCP
UDP 17771

For CS 1.6
Start:End:Protocol
1200-1200 UDP
27000-27015 UDP
27030-27039 TCP

C&C Generals Zero Hour
TCP ports:
80, 28910, 29900, 29920
UDP ports:
4321, 27900

Also it would be awesome if you could open telnet  SSH , ftp and sftp ports .Opening ports from 0-1000 would be perfect.

I'd like to use the VPN to play poker on a stable connection (my own connection drops out every fer minutes. I used to use the universities VPN for this, but I am no longer a student. When I login using your VPN I'm unable to connect to the Poker Client. This seems to be the trouble (from netstat -n):

TCP    10.9.113.30:2926       212.22.229.174:5084    SYN_SENT

So if you could open that port (I think it is 2926 on your side and 5084 on the poker site's side but I' not sure).

Thanks a lot in advance :)

EDIT:

I did some research and found that:

VC poker uses: 5000-5164 4000-4314 and 443.

So could these port ranges be added please? (443 already seems to be open)

Y! Messenger and Camfrog are now opened.

It's not really possible to open large port ranges so please give only one port and the associated application when you make your request

erm, can't you just open these when the outgoing or incoming destination is 212.22.229.174? I just need those ports for just one application.

If not thanks anyway. Then I'll have to go find another VPN provider :)
